I’m so happy to be here in Bergen for our holidays. I’m having a fantastic time and I just love this part of Norway. Lee and I are staying at a historic Royal Hotel. At the moment we are having a cup of hot chocolate and enjoying the spectacular view of the harbor.

The weather is cold, and perfect for skiing. The seven mountains around the city are covered in thick snow. The famous fiords are stunning. In these quiet waters you can sail past mountains, waterfalls and fields. We spend most of our days hiking in the mountains with our Norwegian friends.

Norwegians really love the outdoors. They’re very friendly and kind to us. I think they’re really good-looking. Most of them tend to be tall, with fair hair and light blue eyes.

The food is delicious. Norwegians like eating fish and seafood, especially salmon, shrimps, lobster and caviar. I just love eating fresh bread and smoked salmon for lunch.

Once an American artist decided to go to Spain where he was planning to spend his holiday. It was his first visit to Spain, so he looked forward to seeing Spanish museums, to visiting wonderful Spanish towns, theatres and a bull-fight of course. He sent a letter to one of the biggest hotels in Toledo to reserve accommodation in advance as he knew that there would be a lot of tourists there.

When he arrived at the hotel he found that a very comfortable single room was ready for him. He had some difficulties in going through hotel formalities as he did not know Spanish, but the receptionist helped him to fill in the necessary form and gave him the key to his room.

On his way to the room he met another American whom he had known before. They were very happy to see each other and decided to start their sightseeing programme with a visit to a restaurant.

As we know, their Spanish was not good enough to order a meal and the waiter's English was not better. They ordered coffee, bread and butter with great difficulty. They didn’t know how to order some milk. One of the friend was a painter so very fast he drew a cow and showed the picture to the waiter. The waiter hurried out of the restaurant.

In a few minutes the waiter was back. With a smile he put two tickets for a bull-fight in front of the friends.
