14. Giving examples, comment on the following: “There are responsibilities and obligations to networking”.
Networking can be successful only if the parties work to their mutual benefit. There are responsibilities and obligations to networking. First, the process must involve a two-way flow of information. Cooperation will soon fade if calls are not reciprocated. Favors and referrals should be returned.effective networking is essential to brokering the sale of a prospect or producing property. Overring royalty or promoted interests as an incentive for their actively helping you market the submittal. Networking is the most effective and inexpensive way to keep informed of geotechnical developments, multiply opportunities, and leverage your presence throughout the oil patch.

Cooperation will soon fade if calls are not reciprocated. Favors and referrals should be returned. I agree with these following, because we can also give and get. Effective networking is essential to brokering the sale of a prospect or producing property. Overring royalty or promoted interests as an incentive for their actively helping you market the submittal. People build their carees on many different foundations, it’s famous starting off. One of this factors is economics, at least there are three big reasons for paying more attention to money-making parts of your job. 1) Focusing on the money will help you keep from squandering time and valuable resources. 2) An attitude directed toward profit will attract employers to you and give you better chance of success 3) Grades and scores helped you measure yourself. Use whatever job you have to learn something new. Keep reaching, explore, that’s why one of the possible foundation is versatility. You need also find an objective way to measure your contribution to organization to which you belong (be champion for those activities). And of corse you need work balance.
There is plenty of geological work to be done. Finding a handle — the way to integrate your education, skills, and experience into work you want to do — is the task for young specialist.

Personality rather than formal knowledge is the dominant factor in professional success. Сompetition, eagerness, patience, decisiveness, individualism, self-reliance, cooperation, communication, conclusions play important role in professional career.
A lifetime self-interest is most effectively served by unselfishness.
18. Discuss mutual relationships of personal and professional factors in career making.
Career development properly be viewed from two perspectives: from the personal and professional. Often these terms are the same, and sometimes diverge. First of all, you want to satisfy their personal interests in career development, but most should be considered professional factors, such as, for example, the accumulation of experience in professional activities in the firm. It is important to try to keep in equal positions personal and professional factors for the development of your career, as then there will be interest in work and benefit from it.
19. Comment on following: “It’s not just what you know – it’s also who you know”. In what way does it concern making career in geology?
In profeesionalny geology there is a fine-bored circle of people, and it’s becomes a problem for young scientists and experts. Networking is the most effective and inexpensive way to keep informed of geotechnical developments, multiply opportunities, and leverage your presence throughout the oil patch. Knowing who is doing what , and where the money is coming from will help you to benefit from greater access to new business opportunities and requests for your services.
20. Comment on the following: “Following your bliss – money will come”. Give arguments and counter-arguments.
In ideal situation you do what you like and you really like what you do. But sometimes it’s not like this. When you think about your future job you shouldn’t consider it as an address of firm. You should relate to what you’ll be doing and learning, what your responsibilities will be, and what new opportunities are opening up. Other words you should focus on the fascination and fulfillment the work brings and on where that situation is likely to lead. Enjoy your work, be positive and money will come!
21. Comment on the economical aspect of one’s activity as a geologist. Give your own opinion on the importance or unimportance on focusing on this aspect for career making.
Certainly the economical aspect is very important aspect for our career making. There are three big reasons for paying more attention to the money-making parts of your job. At first focusing on the money will help you keep from squandering time and valuable resources. The second - the make money mindset will serve you long after you cease to do whatever specialty you were taught in school. An attitude directed toward profit will attract employers to you and give you a better chance of success. At last, just as grades and times and scores helped you measure yourself throughout your schooling, you will find that money, profit, rate of return, etc. will enable you to keep track of progress in your career.
22. Do you agree with the following: "In this profession, your credibility is your only real asset." Give reasons and examples.
I agree with the offered statement. To succeed as a professional geologist beside the obvious need of knowledge and experience it's preferable to have connections, good working conditions, provided by employer, reliable sources of information about matters in professional field and so on. But what happens if due to some reasons you suddenly lose a job? What if the seemingly helpful network you built fails you? In the end, every person, every professional should be prepared to deal with difficulties by himself, so what will always support a geologist is his knowledge and experience, and a good reputation.
Formal education gives an individual a certain amount of knowledge that leads to professional competence. Work experience supplies additional knowledge and competence. The answers to the problems keep changing, which means that the professional must be committed to expanding his knowledge. Part of being a professional geologist implies that the individual stays current with the latest ideas. Maintaining and improving one's credibility in every possible way is a certain way to be known as a professional.

23. Which branch of geology, in your opinion, may be regarded as the most prospective at the moment? Give reasons and examples.
In my opinion, at the moment there are two the most perspective fields in geology: engineering geology and hydrogeology and geology of oil and gas. The first deals with the construction (both residential and industrial), which is always in demand, as the civilization exists. The second is related to the intensive development of oil and gas deposits and transportation of these products: at the moment revenues from the sale of these minerals make a significant contribution to the economy of our country.
