In my opinion, at the moment there are two the most perspective fields in geology: engineering geology and hydrogeology and geology of oil and gas. The first deals with the construction (both residential and industrial), which is always in demand, as the civilization exists. The second is related to the intensive development of oil and gas deposits and transportation of these products: at the moment revenues from the sale of these minerals make a significant contribution to the economy of our country.
