In offer letters the supplier gives full details about products, including price-list, catalogues or typical Contract.

Avoid negative words: they tend to put an unhappy claimant in an even more irritable frame of mind. On the other hand, positive, pleasant words help to soothe the claimant’s irritation. You should try to conclude your letter with a positive statement that will build good will.

2. Read the story below and be ready retell it. Fashions of the Middle Ages

Most people in the Middle Ages wore woolen clothing, with undergarments made of linen. Brighter colors, better materials, and a longer jacket length were usually signs of greater wealth. The closing of the aristocracy and wealthy merchants tended to be elaborate and changed according to the fashion of the time.

Towards the end of the Middle Ages, men of the wealthy classes wore hose and a jacket, which often had pleats or a skirt-like bottom, or a tunic with a surcoat ( a long, wide coat reaching down to his feet without sleeves). Women wore flowing gowns and elaborate headwear, ranging from headdresses shaped like hearts or butterflies to tall steeple caps and Italian turbans.

  12. Do you follow fashion trends? Why are they so important to some people and so unimportant to others?

  13. How long does it take you to decide what to wear when you’re getting dressed? What colors suit you? What would you never wear and why?

  14. Do you like dressing up for special occasions? Why or why not?

4. Imagine that you create a uniform for: doctors / police officers / teachers / firemen / cook / builder / pupils. Present your own decision that makes a new uniform fashionable, comfortable, cheaper and attractive.
