Вищим органом аудиторської діяльності є Аудиторська палата України. Вона здійснює сертифікацію фахівців. Вона також затверджує Національні нормативи аудиторської діяльності. Аудиторська палата - це незалежний самостійний орган.
Спілка аудиторів України здійснює захист аудиторів і аудиторських фірм.
