  1. How to street dance.

Street dancing is a great outdoor sport to do with a group of friends. Sometimes street dancing becomes competitive and you should hold your own in a circle. You must be confident to start dancing on the street. Learn about battling as a form of street dancing with help from professional hip-hop dancers and choreographers. Street dancers express themselves through body movement. Best place to learn to street dance is in front of a full-length mirror. Street dancing is based in freestyle movements to allow freedom of expression. Among the various styles available in street dancing are Krumping, Breaking, Tutting, Popping and Locking and Turfing. To learn street dance moves you will have to identify the person or style you wish to imitate the most and devote yourself to it. Along with street dancing skill come confidence, attitude and competition, so you must be prepared to dance with or against fellow street dancers. Street dance is one of the most popular dance forms in London, especially among young women. The term "street dance" covers many different types of dance including house, hip hop, breakdancing, popping and locking. Many schools specialize in this style of dance. Some schools specialize only in street dance and others teach all styles of dance. See what is available locally and enjoy a new style of dance where you will have fun and get a workout all at once. Now I’m going to tell you in a battle sense. So whenever you do street moves, you want to face your person that you're battling and you want to have fun. Any kind of street move is anything that comes to your body and what you're going to be presenting to him and what you're feeling. Now also hip hop dancers more generally will do street moves to the audience because obviously we're dancing to the audience. There are a lot of styles of street dances varying from traditional African street dance to soca dance.

  1. Gathering data.

I made a survey among young people in my dance school who are 13-25. They dance different street dance styles. The questionnaire was of three possible questions.

  1. Analyzing data.

I learned that two out of twenty eight people choose vogue dance, five people preferred dancehall dance, six people choose b-boying dance, eleven people were interested in hip-hop dance and twelve people preferred house dance. Also I learned that five out of twenty eight young people have been dancing for six months, four people dance for one year, two people do it for two years, three people dance for three years, one person have been dance for four years, two people dance for five years, one person dances for six years, two people do it for seven years, two people have been dancing for eight years, two people dance for nine years, one person has been dancing for fourteen years, one person dances fifteen years, one person have been dancing for eighteen years and one person do it for twenty one year. I learned that eighteen out of twenty eight people dance for pleasure; two people have been dancing to feel the sense of freedom, three people dance to show out emotions and two people out of twenty eight dance to express themselves.
