Team- Rotating Team of Moderation

One or more people – that will be rotating if necessary dependant on the number of attendants or the tension building up in the assembly. The moderation team as a whole will be in charge of deciding how and when do the moderators shifts take place, in order to allow the Assembly to run smoothly. The moderator will be allowed to request a shift. The moderator must make sure the Assembly runs smoothly; unite the assembly’s wishes rather than following a strict protocol. It would be ideal if the Moderator was an expendable figure – we must all respect each other.

Moderators are responsible for:

- Welcoming the attendants

- Informing about the Assembly’s nature and basic functioning

- Introducing the Dynamisation groups and their roles

- Moderating in a positive and conciliatory manner any possible disagreements without positioning her/himself either for or against

- Reporting on the development of for and against arguments in each round of the Indirect Consensus

- Briefly sum up every intervention during the rounds of debate and those interventions that require it

- Going through the consensus achieved just as they have been noted in the records.

They will also give a voice to the symbols made by the attendants if the speaker wasn’t made aware of them – it’s recommended that the rest of the attendants are not the ones who do so – if possible - until the intervention finishes so as to not influence the intervention itself. The moderator is also in charge of contributing to a climax of fluid and positive exchange of thoughts in the most objective manner possible. If necessary the moderator can sooth certain tensions that arise reminding of the positive value that every debate has on the 15M movement and encouraging the attendants in order to increase their participation and good spirits. If it were necessary the moderator can be replaced if there is a petition from the assembly that reaches consensus. The assembly must always be notified of everything that the group of moderation discusses off the record in order to promote transparency.

Equipo-Intérpretes

Una o dos personas encargadas de traducir al lenguaje de signos todas las intervenciones orales de la Asamblea y de traducir a la Asamblea las posibles intervenciones de personas con discapacidad auditiva o de palabra, tiene una persona de apoyo que está sentada delante de ellas. Para facilitar su labor es importante no pasar por delante de ellas y no hablar excesivamente deprisa. En caso de estar expuestas al sol de forma directa el Equipo de Logística situará a dos personas tras las intérpretes con paraguas/sombrillas para proporcionarles sombra continua.

Team-Interpreters

One or two people responsible for the translation into the sign language of every spoken intervention in the assembly. They are also support people for the translation of interventions from people with hearing and/or speech impairments who also have a support person sitting in front of them. In order to facilitate their task it is important not to disturb them and to speak as slow as possible. In the case they were directly under the sun/rain, the Logistics team will place two volunteers with umbrellas/sunshades behind them to proportionate them proper shadow or shelter.

Equipo- Actas

Dos personas encargadas de ir tomando nota de todas aquellas intervenciones que no dispongan de un guión escrito. En caso de resoluciones de consenso podrán solicitar que se repitan textualmente los puntos acordados para ser ratificados por la Asamblea y poder ser escritos correctamente. Normalmente una toma nota a mano y la otra a ordenador para contrastar los escritos en caso de necesidad.

En caso de estar expuestas al sol de forma directa el Equipo de Logística situará a dos personas con paraguas/sombrillas para proporcionarles sombra continua.

Deberían leerse al final de la asamblea los puntos de consenso para que queden claros.
