I. Особенности перевода.

1. Перевод следует начинать:

а) с обстоятельства места (см. таблицу);

б) со сказуемого, если обстоятельство места отсутствует («существует …»).

There are many ancient legends. – Существует много древ- них легенд.

2. В зависимости от ситуации конструкцию можно переводить словами «лежит», «стоит», «висит»:

There is a table near the window. – У окна стоит стол.

Future

There will be a café near the park. (Около парка будет кафе.)

There will be many cars near the park tomorrow.

There will be no (won’t be a) café near the park. (Около парка не будет кафе.)

There will be no (won’t be any) cars near the park tomorrow.

Will there be a café near the park? (Около парка будет кафе?)

  1. Особенности употребления:

1. Глагол to be (is, are, was, were, will be) согласуется в числе с последующим именем существительным;

There is a table and six chairs in the room.

Ther are six chairs and a table in the room.

2. В отрицательных предложениях перед much и many вместо no употребляется not.

There aren’t many rooms in this hotel.

Упр. 66. Переведите предложения, обращая внимание на выделенные слова.
