6.Working from home advantages and disadvantages

Once my friend lisa complained her boss. She works as an editor she got a full time job and she tired all the time. She was really excosted because had to waste a lot of time commuting to work and it was very time-consuming. Her boss let her work from home It was a reasonable solution as her boss could reduce the number of workstations. And his employee can stay in touch with office by phone and emails on the one hand and now ahe has a better work-life balance on the other. In Britain there’re 2 million people who work from home. This rapidly-growing trend towards working from home is the same in many countries but what are the reasons for it? The main is technological reason easy access to broadband широкополосная сеть and the availability of phone and video-conferencing. these enable people to use their home as on office in an efficient and cost-effective way. Other reasons for homeworking are the benefits to both employers and employees as office space is costly so if an organization can reduce it`s workstation,it may be able to move a smaller site. employees often work better at home :travelling to work can be very time-consuming and tiring.besides many homeworkers save a lot of time if they don`t commute расстояние, преодолеваемое во время ежедневных поездок из пригорода в город and they can start the day fresher and therefore work more efficiently, parents with young children appreciate the flexibility that homeworking allows and are more relaxed

Advantages :1.flexible schedule. 5.homeworking requires special skills like self-discipline and time management.

Disadvantages:1.if you work at home you need to have regular contact ,by phone, email or video conference, and you need to make regular trips to your office.2.you really miss out on the gossip and on the social side of work.3.many people think if you have work from home it means you have a pointless неостроумный job.4.you must organize your own working time hours(you can be distracted by extraneous внешний matter)

7. How to have a perfect job interview (не забыть упомянуть о CV and Cover letter,что это такое и как составить) if you want to have a perfect job you must fulfill following steps. they can help you to find your place in the world.first of all, you should find such company in which you want to work(try to know about it all information) if you decided where you want to work you should prepare for different tests.

at first compile curriculum vitae which must consists of main parts(education, work experience, key skills and more information about your personality: interests and hobbies).besides you can tell what you can add in the future work in this company(your own contribution in company’s development )then you should add cover letter and cover letter which is sent with a proposal (example job application resume) to provide some additional information and highlighting your interest in the job. It should be short, perhaps one side of an A4 sheet of paper. and the tone should be enthusiastic and professional. It’s a letter telling an employer why you’re interested in their company or organization. You can tell them about your special skills and qualities and why you want to work with them. it gives you opportunity to sell yourself to the employer.(first paragraph is your introduction, say who you are and where you saw the position advertised; second-tell the employer why you want the job, show that you’re enthusiastic and motivated; third-here you mention your qualities, skills and experience. you tell them what you can contribute to their organization; final- say when you’re available for interview. and end on a positive note .for example, say you look forward to hearing from them soon, or something like that.

Now the main rules of successful job interview 1) From the moment an interviewer meets you he or she forms an idea about what sort pf person you are and what kind of employee you would make. When you’re nervous we tend to talk more slowly and look indecisive, so when you walk into the interview room just pause at the door and walk confidently. 3) If you shake hand s hold it with a strong grip. A weak grip means a weak character but too strong grip also won’t empress the interviewer either 4) It’s important to look interesting but don’t stare at your potential boss. And smile from time to time it also helps you to relax 5) Lean forward crossing your arms and legs. From time to time you can copy interviewer’s movements sometimes it helps and finally remember you never get a second chance. You are given only a short time to show who you are. Now let’s speak about difficulties of an interview

When it comes to interview questions, it pays to expect the unexpected. A lot of employers have turned to using «killer questions» or «shock tactics».killer questions often come early in the interview and are aimed at throwing the candidate off guard. by surprising the candidate with an original or difficult question, interviewers can get an honest reaction and an unplanned response. Tell me about yourself, Whats your ideal job? Somewhere where I love the work, great people that I can learn from and a company that invests in its people. I'm also not scared about pressure. It helps motivate people.

They also want to see candidates think through their responses calmly. Interviewers also ask candidates other kinds of difficult questions to see how they react under pressure. For example, they may ask a hypothetical question related to work. Such as Imagine you’re an employee in a customer services. What would you do if an important customer was very rude to you? However, some experts think that hypothetical questions are not useful because they only generate hypothetical answers. They prefer candidates to talk about their past experience.remember, the interview isn’t interested in your response as much as the way you respond.so,stay calm, take a few deep breaths and buy some time. Also a good idea to practice asking and answering some of killer questions with friends.

8. Learning a foreign language. Problems and solutions nowadays speaking foreign languages is very important skills for our social. Because it can help us to communicate with other people from different country, to learn about other country, don’t fall behind in our career, make new friends. Also foreign skills let us down when we travel abroad. Now more than ever is the time to take up a new language. It will open up a new world for us and help us keep up the bilingual high flyers. English became an international language in the world. It helps position and points of countries to be understandable for everyone. The world is a better place if everyone spoke the same language. Many people find it difficult to learn foreign languages at school. There’re solutions and one of them is a language courses where you can pick up the basis or features of a language. With special courses you will be able to do much more than just to get by. Today there’re also different IT technologies which help students to imrove their skills if they catch on slowly. Some companies offer a series of DVD and CDs with writing skills support package. But there is another problem today. The thing is that half of 6000 languages are in danger. Some of them are spoken by so few people that they are in final stages of becoming extinct. Soon these languages will die out like Latin and Greek. Languages may be lost through migration as people move from small rural деревенский communities to urban centers. Natural disasters can also devastate истощать populations and along with them their language (Paulo chi Language in Maluku). Government also plays role in the extinction of the language. The need to establish official language for a country to educate its children had a disastrous effect on many small languages. What is lost if a language is lost? Some people argue that languages die as the human race evolves (развиваться) Obviously there could be great benefits if everyone in the world spoke the same language – some industries already reflect this (воспроизводить) with English essential for pilots and air traffic controllers авиадиспетчер

But in fact as languages are lost whole ways of life and knowledge may be lost along with them. Language expresses something about identity about our place in the world and if you grow up not speaking your language you won’t know who are you.
