From Marabu you will need…

•Magnetico, 250 ml

•Blackboard Paint, 250 ml in black (073) and 250 ml in bordeaux (034)

•BasicAcryl, 80 ml each in white (070), medium yellow (021), rich green (067), orange (013)

•Foam paint roller

… you will also need:

•Marabu-Universal synthetic hair brush soft, flat, size 20

•masking tape

•2 canvases (70 x 100 cm each)

•pencil B

Here’s how it’s done:

1.Instructions monster board with striped background: Fully prime a canvas with Magnetic Primer. Generously apply Magnetico with the foam paint roller in crosswise coats. Repeated applications intensify the magnetic effect; we recommend 3 coats. Allow to dry for at least 12 hours.

2.Fully over-paint the Magnetic Primer with orange acrylic paint in thorough coats. Repeat if necessary. Allow to dry.

3.Use masking tape to create stripes of differing widths and paint alternately with rich green

and medium yellow. When dry remove the masking tape. Print out the monster design to full size (find on www.marabu-creative.comTips & Ideas) and glue together.

Hatch the outlines of the shape on the reverse using a pencil, turn over, position on the canvas and trace.

4.Paint the monster with Blackboard Paint in bordeaux and the thought bubble in black crosswise coats. We recommend 2 coats with drying in between. Paint the eyes in white. Finished! After 24 hours, you can write on the board surfaces with chalk, and it is washable with water; regular magnets will stick to the magnetic background.

Instructions bobble hat monster:

Over-paint the whole background primed with Magnetico with rich green, paint the copied monster design with Blackboard Paint in black, the hat in black-bordeaux stripes.

Tips:

•Magnetico and Blackboard Paint adhere to all smooth surfaces (wood, MDF, metal, cardboard, plastic, canvas, etc.).

•Cupboard doors, walls, tabletops etc. can be turned into practical board surfaces using Blackboard Paint.
