My Working Day

MY WORKING DAY.

I am a first - year student of the Mordovian State Teachers Training Institute, Faculty of Physics and Mathematics. My working day starts when my alarm clock rings at 7 o’clock. In the morning I do all the things one usually does: do my morning exercises, brush my teeth, wash myself, and have breakfast. A bowl of cereal or something left from the supper, milk or coffee - that’s my usual breakfast.

I leave home at 7:40 a. m. and there is only one thing on my mind – to be in time for classes. I take a bus or a trolleybus to reach my Institute. My classes begin at 8:30 in the morning. We usually have from 2 to 4 pairs, so I am at home by 3 o’clock p.m.

We have lectures, seminars and practice on different subjects. Usually I don’t miss my classes because I want to pass my exams successfully. I spend a lot of time in the Institute, so in the middle of my working day at 11.40 a.m. I usually snack in the canteen.

45 – minutes breaks between the pairs is the best time when one may chat with friends, discuss last news. Often after the pairs I have to go to the library to prepare for the seminars. It is rather boring, but necessary.

On my return home I walk my dog and wait for the rest of my family to have dinner together. Dusting, washing the dishes, sweeping – these are all my every day chores as well.

From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.I do my homework – usually 2 hours is enough, but sometimes I have to sit longer. Then I read, watch TV or work with the computer and at 11 – 12p.m.I usually go to bed. Twice a week I go to the aerobic to keep myself fit. And my weekends I usually spend with my friends and relatives, go in for sports or, if the weather is good, go outside.
