Ethics

Ethics is a modern rule of behavior that should guide members of a society or organization to make them deal on a fairly with each other and with their customers.

Ethics is a very important for the society to survive. Every man has this own standard methods of ethics, but a company must have its ethics code written and communicated to all employees and partners.

The first and most important rule of ethics says: “Treat other people in the way you want to be treated by them”.

Business companies are part of society and they should reflect society’s standards. They have responsibilities in the society and should try to have a positive influence.

That is why the purpose of business is not only to make money to be useful to the society and to have social responsibilities.

Integrity is the absolute requirement of the manager and a company. Companies are always very sensitive if their integrity is questioned, because it damages their image and reputation.

If a company not ethical, it will not survive as a company. Very often companies state their mission, which answers the question: “Why should a company exists in the society? What’s the use of it for the society?”

Roosevelt said: “No business which depends for existence on paying less then living wages for its workers has any right to continue in this country.”
