The Present Continuous Tense.

Exercise 1. Make the following sentences: a) interrogative and b) negative.

1. The secretary is looking through the files now. 2. I am expecting a call soon. 3. The students are listening to the speaker at the moment. 4. We are concentrating on French this semester. 5. We are dining out tonight. 6. The child is crying in the yard. 7. The tea is boiling over.

Bob: It lasts for about an hour and a half. Well, it’s getting late. Nick is waiting for me.

Dick: Yes, it’s almost eleven-thirty. Where is Nick now?

Bob: He is waiting for me at the hotel. I’m late now. So goodbye. Dick: So long.

Bob: See you tomorrow night.

The Past Continuous Tense.

Exercise 1. Complete the following sentences, using the Past Continuous Tense.

The Future Continuous Tense. Exercise 1. Answer the questions using Future Continuous.

The Present Perfect Tense.
