Тема 1. Города Британии.

1) London is the capital of Great Britain. It is inhabited by people of almost nationalities and races. The city lies on both banks of the river Thames. The most important part of London are: the City, the East End, the West End and the Westminster.

2) Liverpool is one of the biggest seaports in the world. Today the seaport is also an exporting center for the textiles of the North England. Banking firms are an important part of Liverpool economy. Liverpool has a long history, but it is also a modern city with great plans for the future. (Liverpool is birthplace of the Beatles. Liverpool became an important in the 17 century.)

3) The main character of Victorian Manchester is Gothic, though the are many classical buildings too. The largest of Manchester's park is Heaton Park/ the university oh Manchester was founded in 1880 and reorganized in 1903. it's a very famous university in GB.

Тема 2. Города сша.

1)Washington is the capital of the USA. The official residence of the President, the White House is also situated in Washington is divided into 4 parts: Northeast, Northwest, Southwest, Southeast. There are memorials, museums, the Nation Gallery of Art, the Library of the Congress.

2)New York is one other biggest towns in the world. It's the financial and commercial centre of the USA. It is also its cultural centre and the biggest seaport/ in the day one can see the bronze Statue of Liberty – a symbol of USA. New York consists of five boroughs : Manhattan, the Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn and Richmond. There are 2 university in New York: New York University and Columbia University.

Тема 3. Образование в Англии.

1)The system of higher education consists of Universities, Polytechics, Colleges of Art and other institution. There are 45 universities in GB. The oldest and most famous universities are Cambridge and Oxford. The fist degree awarded on the complation of the course of studies is that of Bachelor. The second is Magister's degree . The highest degree is that of Doctor of Philosophy.

2)Today Oxford is know all over the world. The beginning of Oxford dates back to the 12 th centure.

3)Cambridge has 18 colleges for the man and 6 for woman. The largest of them is King's college. The students must study 9 terms to obtain a Cambridge degree.. Cambridge is a great centre of research. There is a variety of races, religions and points of view there.

Тема 4. Образование в сша.

The system of higher education in the USA consist of two-year colleges, universities, technical institutes, classical liberal arts colleges. The colleges course of study is usually 4 years. It can include mathematics, English, philosophy, economy, history, at least one modern European language and one natural science. The bachelor include Latin and sometimes Greek too.

To obtain Master of Arts the candidates must pass exams after one year of study.

Тема 5. Саратовская государственная академия права.

1) The origin of the Saratow state Academy of law refels to 1917.2) This year at Saratow state University was founded faculty of law.3) In 1994 the Institute was renamed the Academy of law.4) Currently Saratow state law Academy of law is one of the lagest scientific and education institutions of the country.5)The Academy has a lot of scientists.6) They work in different areas of law are widely known in our country and abroad.7) Students study a number of special courses: civil law and process, the history of state and law, theory of state and law, administrative law.8) Besides, the student study philosofhy, logic, foreign languages(English, German, French)9) The Academy has a good library, reading halls, the Museum of criminology. 10) The Academy provides all the necessery conditions for the traning of lawyers.
