Wraz ze wzrostem liczby osób uczàcych si´ j´zyka angielskiego roÊnie zapotrzebowanie na nowoczesne testy oceniajàce efekty pracy uczniów i nauczycieli.Wprowadzenie ró˝nych çwiczeƒ sprawdzajàcych kompetencje j´zykowe uczniów na poczàtkowym etapie nauczania pozwoli na gruntowne przygotowanie ich nie tylko do nowej matury ale i rozmaitych konkursów j´zykowych, a tak˝e olimpiady j´zyka angielskiego, czy popularnych egzaminów First Certificate oraz Certificate of Advanced English. Proponowany przez nas zbiór testów wraz z za àczonymi kryteriami oceny z powodzeniem mo˝e byç stosowany w ka˝dej szkole, w której korzysta si´ z podr´cznika New Headway Elementary. Typy çwiczeƒ

W teÊcie do ka˝dego rozdzia u proponujemy çwiczenia zamkni´te i otwarte.

W çwiczeniach zamkni´tych za poprawnà uznaje si´ tylko jednà odpowiedê, np. prawda/fa sz, co pozwala na szybkie ich sprawdzenie i obiektywnà ocen´. W punktowaniu çwiczeƒ otwartych lub cz´Êciowo otwartych konieczne jest rozwa˝enie kilku aspektów poprawnoÊci j´zykowej i nale˝y oczekiwaç kilku wersji poprawnych odpowiedzi. Ró˝norodnoÊç zadaƒ pozwala na dok adne ustalenie zagadnieƒ wymagajàcych powtórzenia oraz umiej´tnoÊci, w zakresie których wskazane sà intensywniejsze çwiczenia z ca à klasà lub poszczególnymi uczniami.

Typy zadaƒ zamieszczonych w kolejnych testach to: çwiczenia sprawdzajàce rozumienie tekstu czytanego zawierajàce pytania typu prawda/fa sz; uzupe nienie dialogu zwrotami podanymi

Elementy çwiczeƒ otwartych i zamkni´tych àczone sà w zadaniach wymagajàcych przet umaczenia çwiczonych

wczeÊniej zwrotów na j´zyk angielski oraz w wypowiedziach pisemnych ograniczonych podanymi strukturami lub zwrotami. W testach wyst´pujà równie˝ zadania otwarte w formie swobodnych wypowiedzi pisemnych na zadany temat.

Na wykonanie ka˝dego testu przewidziane jest 45 minut.

Punktacja i ocena

Do ka˝dego çwiczenia podana jest maksymalna iloÊç punktów. System ten pozwoli nauczycielowi na szczegó owà analiz´ umiej´tnoÊci uczniów na podstawie wyników czàstkowych. Suma punktów w ca ym teÊcie daje ogólny obraz kompetencji j´zykowych uzyskanych przez danego ucznia. W zadaniach otwartych lub cz´Êciowo otwartych podana punktacja uzale˝niona jest od wszystkich elementów j´zyka sprawdzanych w danym çwiczeniu. Przyk adowo, za ka˝de poprawnie przet umaczone zdanie uczeƒ mo˝e otrzymaç 4 punkty. Nauczyciel musi wziàç pod uwag´ gramatycznà poprawnoÊç zdania (szyk wyrazów, w aÊciwe formy czasowników, u˝ycie czasowników posi kowych, etc.), pisowni´ poszczególnych s ów, zastosowanie odpowiednich zwrotów oraz treÊç zdania. Oceniajàc wy˝ej wymienione zagadnienia nauczyciel powinien pami´taç równie˝ o stopniu zaawansowania uczàcego si´.

W przypadku oceny swobodnej wypowiedzi pisemnej, poza wymienionymi ju˝ czynnikami, nale˝y oceniç komunikatywnoÊç, zgodnoÊç z tematem, d ugoÊç odpowiedzi, umiej´tne zastosownie zdaƒ z o˝onych, oraz u˝ycie w aÊciwego stylu. Zamieszczona ni˝ej tabelka zawiera elementy j´zyka podlegajàce testowaniu i ma na celu u atwiç nauczycielowi ocen´ zadania otwartego.
