A common phrase for talking about aches and pains is mi fa male il/la… (my … hurts). Another useful expression is ho un dolore a(I have a pain in…). Note that a joins with the definite article (the) to produce these combinations: il (al), lo (allo), la (alla), gli (agli), i (ai), and le (alle).
