(Non – Finite Forms of the Verb)
(The Infinitive)
Инфинитив – неопределенная форма глагола – представляет со-
бой неличную глагольную форму, которая только называет действие,
не указывая ни лица, ни числа. Инфинитив отвечает на вопросы что
делать? Что сделать? – читать, прочесть; – покупать,
купить; – продавать, продать.
Формальным признаком инфинитива является частица которая
не имеет самостоятельного значения. Частица to перед инфинитивом
часто опускается.
