PRINCIPLES FOR PRESENTATION FOR THESIS DEFENSE
In order to complete the final presentation, based on which the diploma will be best served when defending, it is necessary to fulfill a certain number of mandatory requirements for its content:
1)Each slide must be logically linked to the previous and subsequent;
2)slides must contain a minimum of text (on each not more than 10 lines);
3)graphic material is absolutely necessary;
4)the time of defense is 7-10 minutes, therefore, the presentation should include 10-15 slides, Usually, the audience sees the slide for about 50 seconds:
5)for a presentation consisting of 15 slides, each section is usually given:

6)font not less than 18-22 points, traditional, standard background, white:
7)there should be no spelling mistakes (By increasing the text, you automaticallymake more noticeable and mistakes made)
52
8)the text on the slide should not be copied from the report. It is better to use numbered or bulleted lists, rather than solid text [47];
9)it is desirable to number the slides: No. of the slide at the top left, do not quote the date, do not write the text;
10)all graphics, drawings, diagrams, and tables should be named and signed;
11)graphics: no more than 4 per slide, several related graphs arranged so that the scales are each under the other;
12)Schemes: no more than 4 per slide, sort out the names (structural, functional, etc.), highlight the key elements of the scheme with color or dotted lines. (You can use the approximation animation);
13)Tables: no more than 4 (if one is small than do not stretch the entire slide, and add a picture or merge with another), the text is 1-4 points less than the main one. If the table is large, then do not bring all, and show only a fragment of several lines:
14)Formulas: no more than 10 per slide, only basic, with signatures from below.
15)Determine who will switch the slides in order to avoid out of sync with the report.

53
What not to do:
1)Read the text on the slide (especially, turning your back to the audience);
2)To say: an abbreviation for a little-known and decrypt all known;
3)Many animation effects;
4)The background of the slide in the form of a picture;
5)A lot of small text on each slide;
6)Too long sentences. (A desirable maximum of 7-8 words);
7)Put on the slide something that you will not tell
8)Align the text on the slide with the width (stretched spaces are formed);
PRINCIPLES OF WRITING THE SCIENTIFIC ARTICLES
The most common genre of the scientific style is an article. Articles are:
•Theoretical article (other scientific works, official documents, statistical data are used as a basis.)
•an analytical article (Purpose - to bring togetherand show phenomena,events,analyzethem,comparethem,identifythemost importantandpromisingdirections.)Thereviewarticleisaimedat drawing attention to the problem, highlighting different points of view.
•an experimental article (according to the name, is based on the data of the experiment.)
Traditionally, all scientific texts should be written in a certain strict style. This is primarily due to the need to avoid the ambiguities and ambiguities of certain scientific concepts.
There are a number of rules for creating articles:
1) An impersonal text - usually the "I" is replaced by the pronoun "we", (theoretically this reflects authorial modesty and objectivity): "We investigated and came to a conclusion ...". In
54
modern scientific speech, to minimize personal coloring, they try to use indefinite-personal and impersonal sentences,
2)The scientific article should include sections [48]: "Introduction", "Material and methods", "Research results", "Discussion of results", "Conclusions", and "Literature". Sometimessections"Results..."and"Discussion..."arecombined into one general section "Results and discussion". In recent years, by analogy with leading foreign scientific journals, the local scientificarticles havebeen increasing includinga small section of the "Gratitude" after the conclusions.
3)The creation of new indices and derivatives in the work should be justified. Do not enter unnecessary indexes, it is better to use direct indicators.
4)Classification based on one parameter does not make sense. In order to justify its existence, it must show the connection between two or more parameters.
5)The language of the article should be clear. Do not use too long (reaching the end of the sentence, the reader runs the risk of forgetting the beginning) and too complex phrases.
6)Donotusetoomanyabbreviationsinonephrase.Donot invent your own, perhaps there are already established notations.
7)WRONG: 15 hours, 24 hours, 17 seconds, 5 minutes, 4 days, 80 beats per minute. CORRECT: 15 hours, 24 hours, 17 seconds, 5 minutes, 4 days, 80 beats/min
8)It is not necessary to completely recount the contents of figures and tables in your own words. Verbal explanations are needed only to focus the reader's attention on the most significant points.
9)Tables and drawings should be understandable to the readerwithoutreferencetothetextofthework.Itisbettertoavoid signatures like: "Explanations in the text" If you need text to understand the illustration, then this is a bad illustration;
10)The data presented in the tables should not be duplicated in the form of figures and vice versa;
55
11)The drawing (graph, diagram) is always preferable to
the table
12)In the figures, each curve, each column of the diagram, must have the notation of statistical dispersion. Without such an addition,graphicalrepresentationsofmeanvaluesaremeaningless [49].
