I. Open the brackets using the verbs in the Present Inde nite Tense. Translate into Russian:

XVIII. Open the brackets using the verbs in brackets in the Past Inde nite Tense:
A certain tyrant (to be) in the habit of writing verses which he himself (to think) perfect. One day the tyrant (to show) his verses to a learned man who (to nd) them poor. This (to make) the king so angry that he (to send) his critic to prison. XIX. Rewrite the following, making all the nouns and pronouns masculine where possible and putting all the verbs in the Past Tense:
