Is humankind heading for environmental suicide?

Nowadays everyone is worried about climate changing. It is said that humankind made global warming. It is no longer but a theory about the climate. They say that global warming leads to environmental suicide. Each day a new report is prepared and it becomes more fantastically apocalyptic. Politicians are no longer daring to express any doubt of climate change. Global warming is going beyond the process. It is a new kind of morality.

I personally believe that the humanity made global warming grows faster. But some scientists say that the actual basis for the theory is crump. The Earth climate is always changing and there is nothing unusual about the current temperature. And the scientists’ research does not support notion that the climate changes are driven by carbon dioxide. Everywhere we are told that the humanity is guilty in climate change. They just don’t have any doubts about this. But I think that we are being told lies.

The global warming story is a cautionary tale. We are told that the Earth climate is changing but the truth is that the Earth climate is always changing. Throughout our planet’s history there have been numerous periods when it was much warmer or cooler. When bigger territory of the world was covered by tropical forests or by ice sheets.

But why if it is so we are bombarded day after day by the message that humankind made global warming. Why just so many people in the media or elsewhere regard it as an undisputed fact.

But may be it is just a western threat of climatic disaster to stop a wasting developing process in the developing countries.

I can’t say that there is no impact on the environment because of technological process. The scientific and technological progress of the 20th century resulted in widespread mechanization, automated lines, computerized management, spaceships, atomic power stations, pipelines, new roads and highways. Unfortunately the price for rapid industrial development is very high. Natural resources are exhausted, water is polluted, and the environment is unhealthy.

The problem is serious and global. That’s why all states ought to join efforts to save our planet. I can speak about the Baltic Sea as about an example of the successful cooperation in solving ecological problems. Once it was polluted, but fortunately, all the countries in the Baltic area have realized the importance of the problem. They came to an agreement and its aim is to prevent oil pollution of the sea, to organize rational fishing and the preservation of the sea life. There are still processes that are natural. We should make research to be sure what we are able to change for the better and what is impossible to prevent because it’s just an ordinary process for the Earth.
