Тесты написаны в соответствии с программой по иностранным языкам для неязыковых вузов, основаны на современной концепции образовательного процесса, пересматривающего отношения между тремя его главными компонентами: преподавателем, учебным пособием и аспирантами, смещая акцент с усвоения аспирантами готовых знаний на их самостоятельную и познавательную деятельность. Цель данных тестов направлена на развитие дискурсивной компетенции аспирантов на занятиях по совершенствованию английскому языку в объеме материала, предусмотренного программой.

ПРЕДИСЛОВИЕ
Одной из целей совершенствования последипломного образования является хороший уровень знания иностранного языка у выпускников аспирантуры. Направление современной системы подготовки по иностранному языку в технических вузах определяется мировыми тенденциями развития высшего образования. Переход общества в новое качественное состояние означает, что главным ресурсом развития становится человек, способный приобретать знания, грамотно их применять, участвовать в процессе их создания. Это приводит к повышению роли высшего образования, ориентированного на развитие личности. Усиление взаимосвязи образования с практической профессиональной деятельностью порождает востребованность на рынке труда специалистов, владеющих иностранным языком. Необходимость непрерывной подготовки по иностранному языку стимулирует вуз обладать потенциалом для различных образовательных программ, которые смогли бы обеспечить непрерывность подготовки по иностранному языку.
