(b) Position Report (PR): confirming vessel'sentry into the reporting area, confirming positions according to the above SP, and when passing an intermediate point of transit.
(c) Deviation Report (DR): when deviating from the route stated in the SP.
(d) Final Report (FR): on arrival at an Ecuadorian port.
(3) Outward-bound vessels should send reports as follows:
(a) Sailing Plan (SP): on departure from an Ecuadorian port.
(b) Position report (PR) confirming vessel'sdeparture according to the above SP, and when passing an intermediate point of transit.
(c) Deviation Report (DR): when deviating from the route stated in the SP.
(d) Final report (FR): on departure from the reporting area.
(4) All vessels engaged in intemational traffic greater than 500 GT or carrying hydrocarbons or dangerous cargo intending to navigate in the Galapagos Islands area, to enter an Ecuadorian port, or to depart the reporting area, must keep clear of the Galapagos Maritime Sensitive Zone.
SAIUNG PLAN (SP) - MESSAGE FORMAT:
(1) This is the basic information required when vessels enter the reporting area, and should be sent:

When arriving from aforeign port bound for an Ecuadorian port |
