Recently, there has been a very rapid development of robots. Dense Object Nets (DON), developed by MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL), is considered one of the breakthroughs. This architecture "teaches" modern conveyor robots to distinguish objects more clearly than they did before. The thing is that they build the necessary projection of coordinates in their processes.

At the moment, this system has not yet been perfected to the ideal, but successful experiments have already been carried out, for example, robots on such an architecture can successfully distinguish the sides of symmetrical objects and help at home with household tasks (cleaning).
