Definitions

  1. Asthma: A common lung disorder in which inflammation causes the bronchi to swell and narrow the airways, creating breathing difficulties that may range from mild to life-threatening. Symptoms include shortness of breath, cough, wheezing, and chest tightness

  2. Brain: The portion of the central nervous system that is located within the skull. It functions as a primary receiver, organizer, and distributor of information for the body. It has a right half and a left half, each of which is called a hemisphere.

  3. Headache: A pain in the head with the pain being above the eyes or the ears, behind the head (occipital), or in the back of the upper neck. Headache, like chest pain or back ache, has many causes. All headaches are considered primary headaches or secondary headaches.

  4. Hygiene: The science of preventive medicine and the preservation of health. Also commonly used as a euphemism for cleanliness and proper sanitation.

  5. Injury: Harm or hurt. The word injure may be in physical or emotional sense.

  6. Liver: a large very vascular glandular organ of vertebrates that secretes bile and causes important changes in many of the substances contained in the blood (as by converting sugars into glycogen which it stores up until required and by forming urea)

  7. Measles (Rubeola): Rubeola is the ordinary measles, an acute highly contagious viral disease with fever, runny nose, cough, red eyes, and a spreading skin rash.

The name "measles" comes from the Middle English "maselen" meaning "many little spots" characteristic of the rash.

  1. Pain: An unpleasant sensation that can range from mild, localized discomfort to agony. Pain has both physical and emotional components. The physical part of pain results from nerve stimulation.

  2. Sneeze: As a verb, to suddenly expel air through the nose and mouth by an involuntary contraction of the muscles of expiration. As a noun, the act of sneezing.Sneezing is commonly caused by irritation of the nasal passages, as from pollens, pepper, or other particles. The sound of the word "sneeze" suggests the act.

  3. Toothache: Pain in the tooth or gum. The most common cause of a toothache is a cavity or an injury to a tooth that exposes the pulp, which is heavily supplied by nerves.
