Breakeven Point
Taking into the consideration expected profit on every car sold, the average profit on one electric car is going to amount: 2464$
Based on this number we can calculate that the breakeven point is going to be achieved after the sale of two vehicles in one month, taking into the consideration that delivery amounts that period of time. In addition, the wage of the project manager is going to be calculated from the profit before sales, that is case of sale of two vehicles would amount approximately 5000$ on average. That in the result is going to estimate 1250$ + 2915$ = 4165$. Therefore, it is assumed that the breakeven point would be achieved by the sale of 2 cars.
Risks, difficulties, problems and assumptions
The most risky issue of the business is the creation of client base. For the business owner it is extremely important to participate in different electric vehicle events, sustainability summits and car conferences since those are the places where the potential segment could be found. It is also important to participate in such in order to create an image of sustainable investor and green cars developer.
Another issue that could affect the business wellbeing is related to the currency exchange rates between polish zloty and us dollar since the whole mechanism involves conversion of different currencies.
Additionally, the business requires deep cooperation between an entrepreneur and the third parties that involved in the scheme like transporters, brokers, sailors etc. therefore it is expected that uncertainty is possible to appear.
