Prepositions

I. Read the following expressions and translate them into Russian:

1. a) at the table, at the window, at the meeting; in the park, in the box, in the street; on the shelf, on the wall, on the floor; behind the garden, behind the house, behind the tree; between the windows, between the tables;

b) to the park, into the bag, from the table, out of the room, under the bed, above the desk, in front of the house, the name of the street, a cup of tea, with a knife;

c) in May, in summer, in the afternoon, in 1960, in a week, in five days, at 7 o’clock, at night, on Sunday, on the first of September, on my birthday, on a cold winter day, by nine o’clock, from five till seven, after dinner, before lunch, for half an hour, till Monday, during the meeting, by tomorrow, on the holiday, for two hours, on Wednesday, at this time, in fifteen, in July, in a year’s time, in his life-time;

II. a) Translate into Russian:

b) Translate into English:
