“Committee of the Tourism Industry” has determined five major clusters of cultural and historical tourism, which might attract tourists from different countries. First, there are certain monuments in Astana, which represents the history and nature of the State National Natural Park (SNNP) of “Burabai”, “Kokshetau”, “Buiratau”, “Karkaraly”, “Bayanaul”. Second, archaeological landscapes of Tamgaly petroglyphs as well as SNNP “Altyn-Emel” are the part of the Almaty cluster. Moreover, “Charyn Canyon”, “Kapchagay” reservoir, tourism center “Jana Ile”, “Eshkiolmes” petroglyphs and “Talgar” ancient settlement reflect the Kazakhstani culture and try to attract foreign tourists by the beauty of the nature and richness of the history. Third, East Kazakhstan cluster includes attractions such as “Bukhtarma” water reservoir, “Irtysh” River (“Zhaisan” Lake), “Caton-Karagaysky” SNNP, “Markakol” Lake and “Kalzhirsky” Canyon, “Ridder-Anatai”, which play an important role in development of tourism. While, South Kazakhstan cluster is famous for its Turkestan mausoleum of “Khoja Ahmed Yassaui”, archaeological sites and ancient town called “Otrar” and “Sauran”, which is also counted as an archaeological complex, “Karatausky State Natural Reserve” with paleolithic sites and geomorphology, “Aksu Zhabagly” Nature Reserve, “Sairam-Ugamsky” State National Park and “Baikonur” spaceport. The last but not least is West Kazakhstan cluster, which attract tourists by underground mosques of “Becket-Ata”, “Ata Shopan” and “Karaman-Ata”, “Omar” and “Tour Mausoleum”, necropolis of “Mangishla”, complex of monuments “Bukey Horde”, “Sherkala” mountain, “Karagiye-Karakol” conservation area, “Usturtsky” State Nature Reserve and “Kenderli” resort.

Transport/logistics

Initially, the government relied on developing logistics as the main aspect of industry’s stimulation, which help to bring economic benefits. First, logistic service has to be stimulated in terms of operating and new enterprises. The cost for internal transportations at production supply with all necessary raw materials, delivery of finished goods to the customers as well as transportation on a long distance will be reduced. Additionally, the logistics stimulating attraction of transit through the Kazakhstani territory indicate the national expert services. Third, the logistics, which promotes activation of the investment processes, outer its effects during decision making process by foreign partners, which makes the decision – making process, regarding the implementation of investment projects in Kazakhstan, much easier and beneficial. There is a company called “TransLine”, which offer high quality and fast delivery of certain goods by road, rail and other types of transportation within the Kazakhstan, CIS as well as Europe. Athough, this company is operating in many regions within Kazakhstan; the main priority is made of on big cities such as Astana, Almaty, Aktobe, Karaganda and Pavlodar.
