Construction materials
First, it is obvious that 2 plants of construction materials were built in Akmola region in order to increase the number of construction materials. The plants are expected to produce more than 34,000 of tons of products annually. It is important to point out that the previous production line was improved due to the modern equipment provided specifically for the factory. Second, enterprise of mineral wool plates’ production called “BASTAU” will be launched at the end of 2016. The realization of this project will allow manufacturing more than 10,000 of plates per year. In addition, basalt stone will be used as a raw material. In fact, the implementation of new enterprisers, which is counted as an essential part of the investment projects within Akmola region, helps to take its own position at the foreign market.
Oil and gas equipment
The Kazakhstani Oil and Gas equipment plays an important role in development of natural resource clusters. For example, “NIPINeftegas” tries to find all possible solutions for complex scientific and technical tasks in order to develop the oil and gas deposits in several geological conditions. One of the main features of “NIPINeftegas” is an implementation of complex design problems of hydrocarbon production on land as well as at sea using the value and prospects of their scientific software fully. Other good example is “MG Engineering”, which also has many projects on construction of oil and gas enterprise, tries to improve competitiveness through improvement of services provided such as engineering development and design, logistics and procurement, and management of oil and gas structures and enterprise construction. There are six main oil and gas companies such as “KazMunayGaz”, “LukOil”, “Chevron”, “Eni”, and “CNPC” which are operating in certain projects helping for the current situation of the Kazakhstani economy. It is important to develop technology of refineries and petrochemical facilities within the country in order to improve the competitiveness of the company.
Textile
Cotton is privileged within the raw material base and Kazakhstani textile industry. As a result, the cotton-textile cluster is firstly developing in South Kazakhstan region. There are several new businesses that already invested in the modernization of existing and construction of new textile industries in South Kazakhstan. The design capacity is planning to reach almost 15 million square meters of fabrics annually. The use of cluster model is an important factor in development of the textile industry within Kazakhstani economy. It can be said that textile industry has a great potential for a successful development of the industry by giving the lower cost performance in production, proximity to raw materials and potential markets for products and transport infrastructure developed. Moreover, Kazakhstan has a good scale of the market opportunities for the development of the textile industry and individual sectors of cotton-textile industry in South Kazakhstan. The certain events will be conducted at the state level for the full creation and development of the cotton-textile cluster within this region.
