Тема уроку: Fast food eating. Nutrition. Health. 10 клас.
Цілі уроку
Практична: систематизувати вивчений матеріал з даної теми, перевірити рівень знань учнів, закріпити вживання лексичних одиниць, засвоєних протягом попередніх уроків.
Освітня: розширити кругозір учнів за даною темою. Продовжувати формувати вміння аудіювання, читання, письма та говоріння. Поглиблення знань про культуру, реалії країни, мова якої вивчається.
Розвиваюча: розвивати вміння ілюструвати ідеї, думки, висновки щодо даної теми, мовну здогадку та мовленнєву реакцію, просторове сприйняття.
Виховна: виховувати самостійність, зацікавленість у вивченні іноземної мови, культури народу, мова якого вивчається;
Засоби навчання: підручник "Real Life" (intermediate) 2010; картки, презентація.

We have a meeting devoted to the painting. During the meeting we shall get to know some interesting and important facts related to the world famous painters and their works.
Today we’re going on talking on the topic Food and Nutrition; and we`ll get acquainted with interesting cooking traditions. To do our best let`s revise active vocabulary and there are also some new words.

I’m going to distribute you sheets of paper with adjective that describe food, its taste, shape, color, texture and origin. Your task is to put these adjectives under the correct tables. You have 4 minutes to complete this task. (Teacher give them cards)

Now kids, we are going to listen the text about fast food traditions around the world. Our purpose today is to define some interesting facts of fast food and its influence. So that you can compare the world culinary traditions with the traditions of our country. Is it interesting?
Прийом 5. Зняття лексичних труднощів.
But before listen to the story «Street food around the world», have a look at the blackboard. Here you’ve got some interesting words and word-combinations in transcription. Let’s read them all together.
So, first comes «savoury snack». All together now.

«Pho» - is a kind of noodle soup.

P - Fried potatoes, noodle soup, harira, pies and pancakes are mentioned in the text.
T - And the culinary traditions of which countries are described? P- The culinary traditions of Belgium, Vietnam, Morocco, Australia and Mexico are described.
