Exercise 1

Прочитайте вопрос. Ответьте на него вслух, используя сокращенную форму вспомогательного глагола. Напишите свой ответ.

ПРИМЕР
Вопрос: I can't take the car tonight, can I?

Ответ: No, you're not to take the car tonight.

Вопрос:	Mike's got to come back before twelve o'clock, hasn't he?
Вопрос:	I'm not allowed to drink and drive, am I?
Вопрос:	He must be very quiet if he comes in late, mustn't he?

Прочтите фразу. Задайте вопрос к этой фразе в соответствии с примером. Произнесите свой вопрос вслух и напишите его.

ПРИМЕР

Фраза: John's got a new girlfriend.

Ответ: Has he?

Фраза:	He met her at your party last week.
Фраза:	He still likes Mary though.

Прочтите фразу. Измените ее в соответствии с примером, употребляя модальный глагол must. Впишите свой ответ.

ПРИМЕР

 Фраза: Mary's crazy if she wants to marry that man.

Фраза: I'm sure he's over 60 years old.

Exercise 6

Прочтите фразу. Измените ее в соответствии с примером, употребляя вместо выделенных выражений глаголы have got to / haven't got to / must not. Впишите свой ответ.

ПРИМЕР

Фраза: If you want to take the exam it is necessary to sign your name.

Ответ: If you want to take the exam you have got to sign your name.

Фраза: It isn't necessary to answer all the questions, but you can if you want to.
