Exercise 1

Прочтите вопрос. Ответьте на него вслух в соответствии с примером, выразив согласие. Напишите свой ответ.

Прочтите фразу. Измените ее в соответствии с примером. Произнесите свой ответ вслух и напишите его.

ПРИМЕР  Фраза: We don't mind where you put it.  Ответ: You can put it anywhere you like.

Фраза:	They don't care what he does.
Фраза:	I don't mind who they tell.
Фраза:	It doesn't matter what time they arrive.

Exercise 3

Прочтите фразу и измените ее в соответствии с примером: - используйте данные слова и выражения; - выразите подлежащее местоимением. Напишите свой ответ.

ПРИМЕР  Фраза: On Sundays we always used to get up late. to have breakfast in bed  Ответ: Yes, and sometimes we'd have breakfast in bed.

Фраза: Then we used to go for a walk. to take a boat on the river

Прочтите вопрос. Ответьте на него в соответствии с примером, используя выражение be used to. Напишите свой ответ.

Exercise 5

Прочтите вопрос. Ответьте на него в соответствии с примером: - используйте выражение get used to; - поставьте глагол в форму подходящего времени; - используйте сокращенную форму вспомогательного глагола. Напишите свой ответ.

ПРИМЕР  Вопрос: Are you beginning to like your new job now?  Ответ: Yes, I'm getting used to my new job now.

Вопрос: Did he learn to work harder? Вопрос: Has he learned to get up early in the morning? Вопрос: Has he begun to enjoy living in France? Вопрос: Will he be able to speak French soon? Вопрос: Are they beginning to like these cigarettes now? Вопрос: Will they be able to walk all that way every day?

Exercise 6

Прочтите фразу. Поставьте глаголы, данные в скобках, в Past Simple / Past Continuous, либо используйте выражение used to. Впишите глаголы в нужной форме.

ПРИМЕР  Фраза: When I (be) a little boy I (smoke) cigarettes occasionally.  Ответ: When I was a little boy I used to smoke cigarettes occasionally.

Exercise 7

Прочтите фразу. Используйте used to / would с глаголами, данными в скобках, если это возможно. Если это невозможно, то поставьте глаголы в Past Simple. Впишите глаголы в пропуски.
