Exercise 35 Mind the use of gerunds in the syntactic function of the adverbial modifier of concession. Translate the sentences into Russian:

Однажды, когда я возвращалась после короткого отпуска, она предложила встретить меня на вокзале. Хорошо зная, что она все забывает, я настаивала на том, чтобы она осталась дома и ждала меня там. Она же, настаивала на том, чтобы встретить меня и, хотя я не люблю беспокоить людей, я сдалась. Весь обратный путь я боялась, что она опоздает. Я терпеть не могу опаздывать и просто не выношу ожидания. Когда поезд прибыл, я даже не взглянула на платформу. Я была уверена в том, что она полностью забыла о моем приезде. Представьте, как я была поражена увидев, что она стоит на платформе. Я не поверила своим глазам. Она не способна совершить такое. Только вообразите, что она не забыла встретить меня.
