4 Technical requirements

4.1 Each section of the course work should be started on a new sheet (page). Subsections within a section are separated by a deviation in one line of text.

4.2 Pagination of the course work and appendices that make up the course work should be continuous.

4.3 Illustrations (drawings, maps, graphs, charts, diagrams, photographs) should be placed in the course work right after the text in which they are mentioned for the first time or on the next page. Illustrations may be performed in the computer, including color. All illustrations should be referenced in the course work.

4.4 Drawings, graphs, charts, diagrams, illustrations, placed in the course work must meet the requirements of state standards USDD

4.5 Illustrations except illustrations of appendices should be sequentially numbered in Arabic numerals. If there is a one picture, it is referred to as “Figure 1”, the word “Figure” and its name is placed in the middle of the line.

4.6 A numbered illustrations are allowed within a section. In this case, the figure number consists of the section number and the sequence number of an illustration, separated by a dot.

4.7 Illustrations, if necessary, may have the name and the explanatory information (caption text). The word "Figure" and his name was placed after the explanatory data and written as follows: Figure 1. Structure of computer software.

4.8 When referring to illustrations the phrase "in accordance with Figure 2" should be written at continuous numbering and "in accordance with Figure 1.2" when numbering within a section.

4.9 Tables are used for the sake of clarity and ease of comparison of indicators. The table name should reflect its content, be precise and concise. The table name should be placed over the table with indention on the next line after the words "Table 1".

4.10 The table should be placed directly after the text in which it is mentioned for the first time, or on the next page.

4.11 All tables must be referenced in the course work. When referencing it is necessary to write "table" indicating its number.

4.12 It is allowed to transfer a table with a large number of rows to another sheet (page). During a transfer of the table to another sheet (page), the word "Table" and its number are pointed once on the left above the first part of the table, over the other parts the word “Continued” is written and the number of the table is indicated, for example: "Continuation of Table 1." When transferring the table to another sheet (page) header is placed only on the first part of it. When transferring the part of the table a lower horizontal line bounding the table is not drawn.

4.13 If the text repeated in different rows (columns) of the table consists of one word, then it is allowed to replace it with the quotation marks after the first writing; if two or more words, at the first iteration it his replaced by the words "same", and then - quotes. Putting quotation marks instead of repeated numbers, marks, symbols, mathematical and chemical symbols is not allowed. If digital or other data is not led in any row of the table, then a dash is put in it.

4.14 Tables, except for appendix tables should be sequentially numbered in Arabic numerals.

4.15 Numbered tables within a section are allowed. In this case the number of the table consists of the section number and the sequence number of the table, separated by a dot.

4.16 Column and row headers of the table should be written with a capital letter in the singular, and the column subheadings - with a lowercase letter, if they make one sentence with the title, or capitalized if they have an independent value. At the end of headings and subheadings of the tables a point is not put.

4.17 Tables on the left, right and bottom, typically are limited by lines. It is allowed to use the font size smaller than the text in the table. Column headings are generally written in parallel to the rows of the table. If necessary, perpendicular arrangement of column headings is allowed. The head of the table must be separated from the rest of the table by line.

4.18 The word "Note" should be typed in capital letters from indent, spaced out and not underlined.

4.19 Notes appear in the course work, if clarification or reference data to the content of the text, tables, or graphic material is needed.

4.20 Notes should be placed right after the text, graphics or table, to which these notes relate. If there is one note, after the word "Note" a dash is put and the note is typed with a capital. One note is not numbered. A few notes are numbered in Arabic numerals without putting points. Note to the table is placed at the end of the table above the line indicating the end of the table.

4.21 Formulas and equations should be allocated from the text on a separate line. Above and below each formula or equation at least one free line should be left. If the equation does not fit in one line, it should be moved to after the equal sign (=), or after the plus (+), minus (-), multiplication (x) and division (:), or other mathematical signs, and the sign is repeated in the beginning of the next line.

4.22 Explanation of symbol's meanings and the numerical coefficients should be given directly under the formula in the same sequence in which they are given in the formula.

4.23 Formulas in the course work should be numbered by ordinal numbering within the entire work by Arabic numerals in parentheses at the far right on the same line.

4.24 References in the text to the serial numbers of the formulas given in parentheses

4.25 The enumeration of formulas within a section is allowed.

4.25 Numbering formulas within the section is allowed. In this case the number of the formula consists of the section number and the sequence number of the formula separated by a dot.

4.26 Links to the sources used should be in square brackets.

4.27 Information sources should be placed in the order of appearance of links to sources in the text of the course work, numbered in Arabic numerals without a point and typed with indention.

4.28 Appendix is formulated as a continuation of the coursework on its next pages.

4.29 In the text of the course work the links to all appendices must be given. Appendices are placed in order of their links the text.

4.30 Each appendix should be started on a new page with an indication of the word "Appendix" and its designation on the top middle of the page. The appendix must have a title that is written symmetrically with respect to the text with a capital as a separate line. If the course work has one appendix, it is allowed to not indicate it.

4.31 Appendices must have continuous numbering of the pages common with the rest of the coursework.
