Guidelines for Buying Toys

Today all products on the market have undergone strict quality control tests. So read the label that is attached to the item to assess its suitability for the child for whom you are buying it. This label should contain information on:

- What age it is suitable for: e.g. "Suitable for ages 3 +"

- What materials it is made of: e.g. "This product contains non-toxic materials"

- Whether or not the product is inflammable

- Whether the product contains small detachable parts which a small child may be in danger of swallowing
