Khabarovsk is an old Russian city in the Far East It will always remember the immortal glory of courageous Russian explorers who after they have overcome inconceivable hardships, broke trails' to the shores of the Pacific Ocean. The city is named in honour of Yerofei Khabarov, one of the pioneers in tine Amur region.

Khabarovsk has Ьг;п awarded the Order of the October Revolution for its great revolutionary services in the past and its outstanding economic and cultural achievements today.

There is a lot of industrial and building enterprises,research and designing institutes,higher educational institutions,secondary and vocational schools and cultural establishments in the city.Many goods manufactured locally are exported to foreign countries.In spite of its age,Khabarovsk is getting younger and more beautiful with every passing day.It is turning into a well-built modern city

Khabarovsk has extensive ties with foreign countries.It is crossing of several important international airlines.Visitors come here at any time of the year,especially in summer and they always find a hearty welcome.
