In this manual I tell about solving Rubik's Cubes any size by method of Valery Morozov. This method does not use formulas and is 100% logical. I will speak here as a compiler, which understood the principle of this method and added my ideas.
Rubik’s Cube 2x2x2 – base for solving cubes of any size
The sequence of solving:
Choose two the opposites of color on the cube, for example White and Yellow. These colors will play the role of basic colors. Note that each corner-piece (corner) contains the basic color - White or Yellow.
On the top side collect any 4 corners so as to basic color was on top side. For example 3 Yellow and 1 White. Here we do not distinguish basic colors - White equals Yellow.
On the bottom side flip 4 corners so as to basic color was on bottom side. Now all basic colors on Top and Bottom sides.
Using rotation vertical sides (Right, Left, Front and Back sides) only on 180⁰, and Top and Bottom sides on any angle collect on Top side all corners with White colors and on Bottom side all corners with Yellow colors.
Put all corner-piece into right place. In the result – all 8 corners is solved (the cube 2x2x2 is solved).
Phase 0. Choose two the opposites of color on the cube
Opposite colors on the classic Rubik's cube is White and Yellow, Red and Orange, Blue and Green. You can choose any of these pairs of colors. In this manual I use White and Yellow colors as basic colors.
Phase 1. Collect on the top side 4 any basic colors
This step is very simple, it should not cause too much difficulty.

In this example we have on Top side 3 White and 1 Yellow colors. You can get a different combination, for example 2 Yellow and 2 White colors. Here we do not distinguish basic colors - White equals Yellow.
Phase 2. Flip the 4 corner-pieces so as to basic color was on bottom side
Turn over the cube, taking it over the opposite side relative to that on which we have collected 4 base colors on phase 1.
Here we can get only 6 situations, when not all corners on the opposite side stands with basic color to up (the location of the invisible to us the basic colors are marked with yellow stripe):

Phase 3. Collect White colors on Top side and Yellow colors on Bottom side
This step is simple. Thing to remember here that the vertical sides (Right, Left, Front and Back sides) can be rotated only 180 degrees, so as not to infringe the provisions of the basic colors. Top and Bottom sides can rotate on any angle.

Phase 4. Put all corner-piece into right place
We need to calculate how many couples gathered on the White and Yellow side.

On the White side we have not whole ribs (Red connected with Orange or Blue connected with Green). We believe that the two ribs broken (Blue and Green ribs or Red and Orange ribs). |
On the Yellow side coincide Green and Green, believe that this rib is whole. Look only on the opposite rib. Opposite rib must coincide Blue and Blue, but there Red and Orange, believe that this rib is broken. |
