The following information concerns the relations of a verb and an object (подлежащее и дополнение)
Transitive / Intransitive verbs
Transitive verbs take are followed by an object: /за переходным глаголами следует дополнение/ |

A verb can have two objects

Judge awarded the plaintiff (1) relief (2) in the amount of $500.
OR Judge awarded $500 relief (2) to the plaintiff (1).
With some verbs the object is introduced with for and not to:
She will certify this document for you.
Solicitors prepare documents for barristers.
