Tell about a job you would like to have.
Tell about a job you would not like to have.
What is better to your mind: live to work or work to live? Explain your choice.
Describe some company or organization. How it is organized. What jobs and responsibilities do people in this company have.
Describe some large company. What the company makes, what departments it has and what they are called.
Give advice as for how to start your own business.
Give advice as for how to make your business profitable.
Choose another country with a business culture that is very different from your country, e.g. China, South Korea, Brazil, Saudi Arabia. Tell about doing business in this country.
Make a list of dos and don'ts for one who is going to start a business in a country with culture that is very different from your country.
Make a list of the rewards and benefits of your job.
What is team working for you? Are you a good team-worker?
Tell how do you prepare for the meeting.
Tell how are you going to plan a trip, an end-of-year party?
Look at some newspapers or business magazines to find an article which gives the findings of a report. Make notes of the subject of the report, its method, procedure and findings. Tell about the report.
Find some information about negotiating styles in your country. Can you think of a recent situation where there have been negotiations in your country, e.g. public service salary reviews? What was the result?
Give some instructions for a phone call
Make arrangements on the telephone in your language. Are there any differences in the way you do it and in English? If so, what are they?
Talk to someone who has given a presentation. What was it about? Did you think it was a good presentation? Why/Why not?
What advice would you give someone about preparing a presentation?
Describe a presentation you have visited (the way the speaker has introduced and concluded the presentation. Did they help you to follow the points he/she was trying to make? Could you improve on it? How?
