Correct It

In your groups decide how to correct the following mistakes and errors.

1. You are doing a grammar drill to practise the present simple tense. A student says, 'He play football in the evening.''

2.Your students have just been introduced to the present perfect tense and you are doing a controlled practice activity. The students are answering the question, 'What have you done today?' A learner says, 'I've wrote a test’

3.Your class is working in pairs, doing a guessing game. The task is to describe a profession so that the partner could guess it. As you walk around the class and listen to the students, you hear that a lot of them say, 'It's a person, which....’ _

4.You are revising indirect questions before your class has a test. In open pairs students are acting out dialogues. One student says, 'Could you tell me where is the station.'

5.Your students are working in groups; their task is to agree on the time appropriate for everybody to have a party. One student says, 'I can't come on Friday. I must to go to the dentist.'

6.Your learners are doing an ice-breaking activity in closed pairs looking for things in common. As you monitor the class, you hear, 'I'm very interesting in music'

7.A shy learner is telling the class his/her life story. He/she says, ‘I born in Kyiv in 2005.

8.Your class is working in pairs doing a speaking activity to practise invitations. One student is asking the other to bring her friend to the party. He says, 'Take Sasha to the party.'

9.Your class is working in groups planning what to do together in the evening. Several students in different groups are making the same mistake, saying, ‘If we 'll have time, we can go for a walk '

10.You are doing a warming-up activity with your class, asking them about their families. One student tells the class,' My sister is ten years.'

11.You are revising grammar tenses before your class has an exam. A student says, 'All my life I live in Kyiv.'

12.You have just introduced the present continuous tense and are doing a grammar drill. You ask, 'What are you doing now?' A student responds, 'I answering questions'
