4. Name of medicine: Amitriptylinum.

It is preparation from three-nucleus psychotropic group (amitriptylinum hydrochloricum) with anti-depressive and anti-anxiety action.

It is forbidden driving a car during treatment.

It is necessary before treatment to examine presence of contraindications.

Amitriptylinum is used per os after meal.

Beginning dose of preparation is equal 25-50 mg a day. Preparation is taken 2-3 times a day. If necessary dose is increased on 25-50 mg a day 1 time a week before therapeutic effect. Optimal days dose is 100-300 mg a day in clinic and 25-150 mg a day in dispensary.

After achievement of therapeutic effect day’s doses of preparation is necessary to decrease gradually (by the scheme of increasing).

Term of treatment course is 4-6 weeks.
