Tasks for solution (algorithms construction) Complexity level 1.

1. Build a structural scheme (block-scheme) of algorithm for the calculation of water contents volume (WCV) for adult human with conditions:

1. for a man WCV= body weight * 0,8;

2. for a woman WCV = body weight * 0,75.

2. Build the a structural scheme (block-scheme) of algorithm for using of ascorbic acid to the child in accordance with the age:

1. before 1 year doesn’t use;

2. 1-2 year – 0,05 mg daily;

3. 3-4 year – 0,1 mg daily;

4. 5-10 years – 0,15 mg daily.

3. Build a structural scheme (block-scheme) of algorithm for the calculation of total dose of preparation which was used by patient during N days in dose 0,0025 mg daily. Number of days is unknown before beginning of calculation. Current value of days must be input's in algorithm.

1. Name of medicine: Rotokanum.

Rotokanum is liquid with anti-inflammation and hemostatic effects; it promotes regeneration of mucous membranes.

Rotokanum is used in stomatologic practice locally. Before using 1 teaspoon of preparation is dissolved in 1 glass of warm water. In case of stomatitis and other diseases of oral cavity Rotokanum is applied during 15-20 minutes 2-3 time a day during 2-5 days term.

In case of erosions of stomach Rotokanum is used per os ½-1/3 of glass of solution (1 teaspoon of preparation on 1 glass of warm boiled water) at 30 minutes before meal or 40-60 minutes after meal 3-4 times a day.

2. Name of medicine: Phencarolum.

It is antihistaminic preparation.

Phencarolum is used per os after meal.

It is necessary (for persons needy for fast physical and psychical reactions preliminary) before treatment to determine absence of sedative effect of preparation by way short-term course of preparation.

For adults Phencarolum is recommended 0,025-0,05 g 3-4 times a day. Maximal days dose equal 0,2 g (200 mg). Term of treatment course is 10-20 days.

For children Phencarolum is recommended in accordance with age: in age before 3 year 0,005 g 2-3 times a day; in age from 3 before 7 year 0,01 g 2 times a day; after 7 before 12 year 0,025 g 2-3 times a day. Term of treatment course is 10-15 days.

3. Name of medicine: Octaminum plus.

It is preparation for metabolic process regulation (complex of amino-acids).

Octaminum is used per os after meal.

Octaminum is recommended for elder 3 year children and adults.

It is necessary before treatment to examine presence of contraindications.

In cases of convalescence, burning disease and immunosupression. Children take 1 capsule 3 times a day; adults take 2 capsules 3 times a day during 10-20 days. If necessary treatment course is repeated after 2-3 weeks.
