I. Give English equivalents of the following words and word-combinations.

II. Say if the following statements are true or false. Correct the false statements to make them true.

  4. Nowadays we can’t imagine our life without telegraph.

V. Insert a correct preposition. Entitle and translate the text.

Telephone is the quick means (from/ of/ by) communication. The people who live far away can talk (to/ at/ with) one another as if they are sitting face (into/ for/ to) face.
