An economist's job today looks more like that of a researcher. Economists are faced with the task of obtaining the know-how of scientific research methods based on the profound understanding of mechanisms of the economic laws.

The Kryvyi Rih Economic Institute of the Kyiv National University of Business and Economics trains, among others, specialists in the speciality "Inspection and Control".

To meet the present-day requirements the future inspector is obliged lo master various subjects, both general-educational (Geography, Mathematics, Philosophy, Political Economy, Foreign Languages, etc.) and special ones (Accounting, Auditing, Finance and Credit, Banking, Statistics, etc.).

After graduation from the Institute the graduates will go to work at the State Auditing (Inspection and Control) Department, independent auditing firms, various enterprises, companies, banks, joint ventures and small businesses, research institutes dealing with economic problems, etc. The duties of an inspector are: to exercise different inspections and to make audits on separate problems of financial and economic activities. Documentary inspection of an enterprise, a company, or a firm begins with the inventory of monetary means and material values. All the monetary, documents, such as income and expenditure orders, pay-rolls and advance reports, are to be checked. The profession of an inspector is very important and responsible.

The profession of an economist and a marketologyst is very important and responsible.
