Вступ

Методичні вказівки до вивчення усних розмовних тем з англійської мови призначені для студентів І та II курсів заочної форми навчання.

Метою методичних вказівок є подальший розвиток мовленнєвих навичок студентів економічних спеціальностей заочної форми навчання.

Методичні вказівки містять усні розмовні теми, які передбачені навчальними планами підготовки бакалаврів. Для студентів першого курсу розроблені, окрім теми "About Myself', розмовні теми країнознавчого характеру: "Ukraine", "Kyiv", "Great Britain", "London". А для студентів другого − професійно-орієнтовані теми: "Economy As a Science", "Economic Reforms in Ukraine" та "My Future Profession" у п’яти варіантах відповідно до фахового спрямування.

Тексти розмовних тем адаптовані до умов заочної форми навчання. Перед текстами подані для ознайомлення і засвоєння списки слів і словосполучень. Для контролю розуміння тексту подані питання англійською мовою.

Структура методичних вказівок передбачає самостійне індивідуальне опрацювання навчального матеріалу і розрахована, головним чином, на засвоєння студентами активної лексики з дисципліни "Англійська мова".

II.Прочитайте і перекладіть текст "About Myself":

Let me introduce myself. My name is Mykola Pctrenko. I am 23. I live in Kryviy Rih. I am married. My wife's name is Oksana. Our family is not large. We have a daughter. Her name is Lesya. She is only one year old. We love her very much.

I work at a large firm. It deals with the marketing of building materials. My office is not far from my home. Usually I get there by trolley-bus. It takes me fifteen minutes to get there. I work as a distributor. I like my work very much. But for my promotion I must have higher education that is why I have entered the Kryviy Rih Economical Institute this year. I study at the correspondence department. At the Institute we study various subjects, such as: Higher Mathematics, Political Economy, Philosophy, Foreign Languages, Finance and Credit, Banking, Accounting, Management, Marketing, Statistics etc. I must say it is not easy to combine work and studies. But I try my best to study well.

I go in for sports. I am a football fan. My favorite football team is "Kryvbas". In the evening I do some work about the house and prepare my home assignments. If the program is interesting I listen to the radio or watch TV. I like reading books. I prefer detective stories, books on history, arts and fictions. On the days off my family and I visit our relatives or friends. Sometimes we go to the theatre or to the cinema. In summer we go to the country or to the seaside to spend our holidays.
