Reading of digraphs “oo”, “ou” in homographes:
slough – сброшенная кожа змеи, забытая привычка; уныние, депрессия, болото.
bouse – выпивка, пьянство; тянуть, спасти.
wound – рана; крутиться, извиваться (past of wind)
