Prepositions in the structure of the sentence

1. Для разговорного языка характерным является помещение предлога в конце предложения:

From what country are you?}What country are you from?

2. Если предложение содержит относительное местоимение, выступающее в функции предложного дополнения, то предлог, как правило, помещается в конце предложения:

This is the man whom I was talking about.

В предложениях подобного рода относительное местоимение может быть опущено:

This is the man I was talking about.
