The teens of tomorrow

THE LIFE of a teenager today is very different to that of teenagers fifty years ago. Then there were no mobiles, no Internet and no budget airlines. Teenagers had less freedom – but they didn’t have to study so hard and to pass so many exams.

What will life be like for teenagers of tomorrow? What will they be doing in 2055?

In 2055 teenagers will be wearing clothes made from recycled plastic. They will be listening to music on virtual music systems that are ten times smaller than an iPod. They’ll be using computers at school every day.

By the year 2050, the Earth’s population … so there will be twice as many people. This means we … twice as many people as today. I certainly hope that then … much better ways of producing crops in order to do this; if not, there is no doubt in my mind that the world … major problems. Of course, I hope my own research … to any solutions that have been found.
