Every
person having
complete secondary education can enter any medical
institute
provided he passes his entrance examinations, which are very
competitive.
To
be admitted to a higher educational-
institution it's
necessary to pass all entrance examinations successfully. University
At
our Medical University potential students take examinations in July
in
a written
form. These may be the Russian language, Chemistry, Biology or
Physics.
School
leavers with excellent marks take only one entrance examination.
The
main criterion for admittance to higher medical schools is good
knowledge and ability.
Orphaned
children, children left without parents' guardianship are admitted
out of the competition.
It's
enough for them to get satisfactory marks and not to fail their
entrance examinations.
Preference
is also given to those who have experience in practical work as
junior nurses, nurses or doctors' assistants.
