12. Complete the new connection wizard by clicking “Finish”.

Dial-up Client setting
1. Environment set up of RS program
– Select “SYSTEM” tap.
Click “Make new Dialup entry” button.
2. Select “Connect to the network at my workplace”.
3. Select “Dial-up connection”.
4. Input the name of the Dial-up connection server.
5. Input the phone number of the Dial-up connection server and click “Next”.
6. Complete the Dial-up connection client setting by clicking “Finish”.
3.3 RS program modem connection
After Dial-up connection client setting, proceed the modem connection procedure.
3.3.1 Site registration
- Network Type : Select ISDN/MODEM.
- IP : Input the address which is registered in DVR
server. (TCP/IP setting of Dial-up connection
server setting – Input the IP address beside
“From”.)
Please refer to the Dial-up connection server
setting.
- Input User ID & Password which registered in
DVR server.
3.3.2. Connection to a site
Double click the modem connection site or click the connection button after selecting the modem connection site.
Select “Connect” button after the question box below floated up.
The user must input the registered user ID & password in the
Dial-up connection setting to the DVR server connecting box.
If the user registered only Administrator, input the password
for administrator. (Windows log-in password)
Ex) Input “test” & “1” if the user registered the user ID &
password as “test” & “1” in Dial-up connection
server as below picture.
Disconnection is mostly caused from wrong user
information, so the user must check the registered
user information in Dial-up connection setting and
input the proper information.

Click “Dial” button to connect.
Dial-up connection will be completed after the
registered user ID & password are successfully
authenticated.
[Disconnecting the modem connection]
To disconnect the current modem connection, follow the procedure
below.
1. Double click the currently connected site or click the connection button after
selecting the site.
2. Click “Disconnect” button in the network connection box.
3. Modem connection will be disconnected with “tick” sound.
[Notice]
Modem connection uses the minimum network bandwidth. Generally PCI type internal or
external modem uses 56K, so the transmission rate is much lower than LAN when the
user monitors the image remotely through modem connection. 360 x 240 [CIF(LOW)]
mode is recommended in modem connection environment.
