1. XXII Східна Літня Школа

До 10 травня 2012 р. приймаються заявки на участь у Міжнародній школі з історії та сучасності Східної та Центральної Європи - Східній Літній Школі. Східна Літня Школа організується Студіями Східної Європи Варшавського університету щороку для молодих істориків та дослідників у різних гуманітарних галузях з країн колишнього СРСР, країн Центральної та Західної Європи (окрім Польщі) та Америки (близько 30 слухачів). Перевага віддається кандидатурам, які спеціалізуються на тематиці історії та сучасності Східної Європи, зокрема періодів XIX та XX ст., а також розпаду комунізму та трансформації країн регіону.

Кандидати з країн колишнього СРСР та Східної Європи, а також частково з країн Центральної Європи, які виконають вимоги участі, можуть звертатись з проханням про надання стипендії на покриття витрат перебування у Школі (в цілому або частково, в залежності від країни походження), а саме: на проживання, харчування, лекції, матеріали, наукові виїзди тощо. Стипендія не покриває витрат на переїзд. Для осіб, які не отримають стипендії, вартість участі становитиме 500 євро.

Кандидати повинні надіслати поштою наступні документи:

• - заповнену анкету Школи (польською мовою),

• - заяву з проханням про прийом з описом праць та наукових зацікавлень та заяву з проханням про надання стипендії (польською мовою),

• - curriculum vitae з фотографією (англійською мовою),

• - список усіх наукових публікацій,

• - дві рекомендації дослідників у галузі, якою займається кандидат (бажано одну рекомендацію з Польщі, якщо це можливо),

• - копія диплому про повну вищу освіту.

2. Як і в попередніх роках, Ягєлонський університет оголосив конкурс на одержання стипендій, які фінансуються з Фонду Королеви Ядвіги в академічному році 2012/2013. Стипендії призначені для молодих наукових співробітників і аспірантів з країн Центрально-Східної Європи, які, під керівництвом науковців Ягєлонського університету, зможуть впродовж 1-3 місяців в період з жовтня 2012 до червня 2013 року проходити наукове стажування у Кракові. Документи на конкурс приймаються до 15 червня 2012 року, результати конкурсу будуть оголошені у липні 2012 р.

3. Master in Advanced European and International Studies - maeis (France, Germany, Turkey)

The Master in Advanced European and International Studies is targeted at students who have completed their undergraduate studies. Its objective is to give students an overarching, encompassing vision of the political, social, economic, and cultural problems of today’s modern world. The programme follows an original approach which distinguishes it from other Master courses in European Studies and International Relations.

Institition: Princeton University, New Jersey, US Announcement follows Each year, the School of Social Science at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, NJ, invites about twenty scholars to be in residence for the full academic year to pursue their own research. The School welcomes applications in economics, political science, law, psychology, sociology and anthropology. It encourages social scientific work with an historical and humanistic bent and also entertains applications in history, philosophy, literary criticism, literature and linguistics. Applicants must have a Ph.D. at time of application. Each year there is a general thematic focus that provides common ground for roughly half the scholars; for 2013-2014 the focus will be The Environmental Turn and the Human Sciences. School-specfic Application Instructions All applications for Memberships in the School of Social Science for the 2013-2014 academic year must be filed electronically through the Institute’s online application system by November 1, 2012.
