Latvia and Ukraine

Based on the information I have received during the study of education in Latvia, one can say that the education system in Latvia and Ukraine are very similar.

Among the similar features of the educational system can be identified are:

- There are both public and private higher educational institutions, respectively, in public schools can learn for free, if you have a good knowledge;

- The same in both systems of education institutions can be seen Master and postgraduate education;

- Availability of opportunities to receive education in their native, Russian and English education (though in Ukraine teaching in universities in the Russian and English is not so strongly developed as in Latvia).

Systems differ as follows:

- In Ukrainian studies at universities in the Russian and English is not so strongly developed as in Latvia;

- The division of vocational education at the first level and second can not find the right analogue of the division of education in Ukraine;

- Higher education is on different scales: 10 in Latvia and 100 balls in Ukraine;

- In Latvia, in contrast to Ukraine, strong domestic linkages between institutions of higher education;

-Scholarship in Latvia is relatively smaller than in Ukraine when the Ukrainian students on scholarships can pay for housing and feeding an average of half a month, the Latvian student scholarships will not be enough even to live.

You can find a lot of similar parts of education in Latvia and Ukraine. Even with the problem of Russian-language education is common to both countries. Problematic legislation established a similar mentality of our people and Latvian, so to continue their education in Latvia for the Ukrainians will not be so hard as in England or in the conservative development of the U.S..

Nevertheless, the formation of Latvia on the order of magnitude higher than in Ukraine. Technology in education - it is a familiar and well-developed process, but in Ukraine it is only growing. As a result, get an education for those who can not for some reason get an education directly in the higher education institution, it is easier and the quality is not deteriorating, which, unfortunately, often happens with us.
